Overview
He is currently a PhD student at BIM for Smart Engineering Centre. Prior to this, Chengzhang obtained a first-class MSc degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Southampton. Also, he gained a double major background in Civil Engineering and Computer Science during his undergraduate studies.
As an interdisciplinary researcher, Chengzhang has extensive experience in civil engineering, machine learning, and computer vision. In addition, he hopes to contribute to the digitalisation of the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry by applying the state of the art computer science techniques.
