Mae gen i dros 18 mlynedd o brofiad fel gweithiwr cymdeithasol, cadeirydd cynhadledd amddiffyn plant, Rheolwr Diogelu a Sicrhau Ansawdd a Phrif Weithiwr Cymdeithasol. Yn fwy diweddar, rwyf wedi dal rolau academaidd, gan gynnwys Uwch Ddarlithydd mewn Gwaith Cymdeithasol ym Mhrifysgol Oxford Brooks. Yn 2018, cefais ddoethuriaeth a thrawsnewidiodd i rôl ymchwil ar gyfer y Ganolfan Ymchwil a Datblygu Gofal Cymdeithasol Plant (CASCADE), lle rwyf wedi cydweithio ag academyddion gwaith cymdeithasol blaenllaw ac ymchwilwyr cymheiriaid ar astudiaethau amrywiol. Trwy gydol fy ngyrfa, rwyf wedi cyfuno ymarfer uniongyrchol ag astudiaethau academaidd, addysgu ac ymchwil. Rwyf wedi cyhoeddi dros 20 o bapurau ac adroddiadau ar ymarfer lles plant ac yn 2020 cyhoeddais fy llyfr cyntaf gyda Policy Press ar wneud penderfyniadau mewn gwaith cymdeithasol plant a theulu.

Rwyf hefyd wedi cynnal ymchwil ar drais domestig a niwed teuluol ychwanegol ac mae fy astudiaeth ymchwil gyfredol yn ystyried sut mae canllawiau camfanteisio'n rhywiol ar blant newydd yn cael eu rhoi ar waith yng Nghymru.

Fi oedd y Prif Weithiwr Cymdeithasol mewn dau awdurdod lleol. Rwyf hefyd wedi gweithio i'r Tîm Dyletswydd Brys yn Avon ac wedi gweithio am gyfnod fel gweithiwr cymdeithasol iechyd meddwl. Rwyf wedi dysgu ar raglenni gwaith cymdeithasol amrywiol ers 2011 ac rwyf wedi gweithio fel darlithydd mewn gwaith cymdeithasol mewn amrywiol brifysgolion gwahanol gan gynnwys Prifysgol Gorllewin Lloegr, y Brifysgol Agored, Prifysgol Swydd Gaerloyw a minnau yn gweithio'n rhan amser fel Uwch-ddarlithydd ym Mhrifysgol Oxford Brooks.
