Trosolwyg
Un o'm mhrif ddiddordebau yw sut mae lle, diwylliant, hunaniaeth a pholisïau hinsawdd yn rhyngweithio, ac mae fy ngwaith yn canolbwyntio ar sut mae unigolion a chymunedau yn gwneud synnwyr o berthnasau a newidiadau amgylcheddol-cymdeithasol. Mae'r diddordebau hyn yn deillio o fy nghefndir rhyngddisgyblaethol, a'r amryw o faterion sy'n codi o'r angen i ddatgarboneiddio. Yn fy ngwaith rwy'n defnyddio amryw o ddulliau creadigol a thraddodiadol i ddatblygu dealltwriaeth well o'r cyfleoedd a rhwystrau wynebir gan wahanol gymunedau wrth i'n cymdeithas newid i un carbon isel.
Hyd yn hyn, rwyf wedi ymchwilio arferion ynni teuluoedd gwledig (mewn cartrefi heb gysylltiad nwy yn bennaf), sut mae pobl sy'n byw ger yr arfordir yn gwerthfawrogi natur er mwyn lles (gwerthoedd perthynol), a sut mae cymunedau yn synhwyro ansawdd yr amgylchedd lleol.

My research interests relate to the ways in which place, culture, identity and climate policies intersect and interact. Specifically, I am interested in how individuals and communities make sense of these issues locally by reflecting on the past and the present, as well as how they relate to future projections, providing insights into opportunities and barriers for change. These interests result from my interdisciplinary background, which has provided me with an in-depth understanding of the social, cultural, environmental and political issues arising from the need to transition to a more sustainable society.
To date, my work has spanned exploring the everyday energy practices of (predominantly off-gas) rural households, valuing (relational values) nature for wellbeing at the coast, and embodied sense-making of environmental quality.
