Overview

I am an Optometrist with about 20 years experience in clinical practice, as well as in clinical science. Since 1998, I have been the CEO of the 'Horst Riede GmbH' clinical practice in Weinheim, Germany.  I am also the head of Optometry and Vision Research (OVR), Weinheim, where I am a consultant, investigator and lecturer for several optical companies, research groups and schools.
