Research

My research focusses on the microstructural damage caused to stone heritage by ballistic impacts. I am interested in the relationship between visible damage and internal damage networks at both the macro- and microscale. I work in collaboration with the 'Heritage in the Crossfire' research group developing field methodology for assessing internal damage based on non-destructive testing.
