Personal profile

Lei Chen achieved his Master of Architecture from Syracuse University, United State in 2018. Prior to that he graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Urban Planning from Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, China. Diverse educational background is contributed to his comprehensive research horizons, skills and social network.

In October 2018, Lei Chen joined the Welsh School of Architecture as a full-time PhD student. Currently, his research mainly involves solar radiation forecasting and optimised control methods.
