Overview

Luma Daradkeh is a Passionate architect and academic. Born and raised in Amman, Jordan. Joined WSA in April 2019

she gained her Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Jordan in 2013 and holds a masters degree in Architecture from Jordan University in 2016.

Her academic working experience lies in:

- Teaching Assistant (T.A.) position in different courses at Al- Zaytoona University (2013-2016). 

- A full-time lecturer (2016-2019) for the following courses; Basic Design I and II for first year students, Urban design, and urban planning.

Research

Her doctoral research investigates the social production of space of the informal settlements in refugee camps, and how to reflect the understanding of this investigation on other refugee camps offering a design approach. 

Her research interests are Urbanism, Urban Morphology, socio-spatial interactions, and human behaviour within space
