I hold my PhD candidacy from Sheffield University Management School before transferring to Cardiff Business School in 2022 following my supervisor. My research interests revolve around Sustainability Accounting, Sustainable Finance, Climate Accounting and Financing, and specifically on Deforestation-free Accounting and Finance.

Prior to starting my Doctoral Programme in 2021, I work as a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. Few modules that I taught back are Management Controling System, Auditing, Introduction to Accounting and Finance, and Basic Financial Accounting.

My recent PhD project title is Exploring Sustainability and Accountability Practices: The Role of Financial Sector to Halt Deforestation in Indonesia. This study aims to understand and explore the sustainability and accountability practices of Indonesia's financial institutions (FIs) and their role in halting deforestation. In addition to the critical role Indonesia and its forests hold to supporting global climate governance and preventing further temperature rise, this study is also motivated by the untapped potential of the financial sector in mobilising their funds to sustainable and climate-related projects.
