Overview

I am Research Associate of the Gravity Exploration Institute and a member of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration and of the Quantum-enhanced Interferometry for New Physics Consortium. My expertise concerns experimental physics research.

During my PhD I worked in the Advanced Virgo Thermal Compensation System (TCS), the subsystem devoted to the correction of the optical aberrations. I was involved in the commissioning for O2 and O3 observing runs and to the development of the TCS upgrades in view of O4 and O5.

At Cardiff University, I am involved in the setting up of a table-top experiment to investigate quantization of space-time, scalar field dark matter and ultra-high frequency gravitational waves. I am also involved in data analysis's projects to investigate the presence of scalar field dark matter.
