Overview
Nicholas is a Welsh Clinical Academic Track Fellow and Specialist Registrar in Urology. He has recently completed a PhD within the European Cancer Stem Cell Research Institute exploring the role of Poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase inhibitors in advanced prostate cancer, funded by a Urology Foundation Research Scholarship and The John Black Charitable Foundation. Alongside his clinical training he is now exploring the role of urinary biomarkers in the detection of bladder cancer and is also involved in a number of clinical trials within the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board Urology Trials Unit.
