Overview

Nicholas is a Welsh Clinical Academic Track Fellow and Specialist Registrar in Urology. He has recently completed a PhD within the European Cancer Stem Cell Research Institute exploring the role of Poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase inhibitors in advanced prostate cancer, funded by a Urology Foundation Research Scholarship and The John Black Charitable Foundation. Alongside his clinical training he is now exploring the role of urinary biomarkers in the detection of bladder cancer and is also involved in a number of clinical trials within the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board Urology Trials Unit.

Thesis

Biography

Mr Bullock undertook his undergraduate medical training at Cardiff University (MBBCh) and Imperial College London (Intercalated BSc). After qualifying he completed a two year Academic Foundation Programme in Bristol, followed by urology themed Core Surgical Training in the Wales Deanery. In August 2017 he commenced a Welsh Clinical Academic Track Fellowship in Urology.
