Dr Wanxiang Cai is a Research Associate at Welsh Economy Research Unit. He currently works on SME development and the semiconductor industry in Wales. Before joining Cardiff University, Wanxiang got his PhD degree at Utrecht University School of Economics in the Netherlands. He has published in Technological Forecasting and Social Change. His research interests include entrepreneurship, SME finance, regional economics, and economic geography.
