Dr Joseph Nicholls

Overview

I have a background in Clinical Sciences, Psychology and Human-Computer Interaction, with research experience in the design and evaluation of interfaces to medical information systems. Specialising in educational technology, I was responsible for establishing the Learning Technology team at the former University of Wales College of Medicine.

I have over 20 years experience teaching university staff and postgraduate students on the design, development and effective use of media and technology for learning and teaching.

My research interests primarily concern online education and the development of digital literacies.
