Research

I am interested in research themes such as sustainable water supply in water-stressed areas, water management in arid and semi-arid regions, and resilience of societies to the risks posed by climate change, urbanization and population growth. My current research on Urban Water Resilience explores how households across fragile cities in sub-Saharan Africa respond to water shocks and build resilience to water crisis.
