Rwy'n gweithio yng Nghanolfan Peirianneg Amledd Uchel Prifysgol Caerdydd, a arweiniais o 2010-2022. Rwy'n arbenigo mewn priodweddau sylfaenol, modelu electromagnetig a chymwysiadau deunyddiau ar amleddau radio a microdon. Mae fy arbenigedd addysgu mewn meysydd electromagnetig, deunyddiau electronig, dadansoddi cylchedau, dulliau RF/MW a mathemateg peirianneg. Bûm yn gweithio am flynyddoedd lawer ar uwchddargludedd a'i gymwysiadau amledd uchel, ond yn ystod y blynyddoedd diwethaf rwyf wedi arallgyfeirio i ryngweithiadau maes amledd uchel deunyddiau yn fwy cyffredinol. Rwy'n hyrwyddo ymchwil ryngddisgyblaethol trwy fy rhyngweithiadau ymchwil ar draws yr holl wyddorau ffisegol a llawer o'r gwyddorau biofeddygol a bywyd. Er enghraifft, arweiniais brosiect a ariannwyd gan Ymddiriedolaeth Wellcome i ddatblygu mesurydd glwcos gwaed anfewnwthiol gan ddefnyddio fy ntechnoleg RF patent, sydd ar hyn o bryd yn cael ei fasnacheiddio mewn partneriaeth â GlucoRx (trwy bartneriaeth trosglwyddo gwybodaeth UKRI). Addysgu
Ers 1986 rwyf wedi dysgu cyrsiau ar lefelau UG ac MSc mewn electromagnetedd (arbenigedd sylfaenol), peirianneg RF/microdon, dyfeisiau electronig a chylchedau, deunyddiau, mathemateg peirianneg ac optoelectroneg ym Mhrifysgolion Caergrawnt, Birmingham a Chaerdydd.
Yn flaenorol, bûm yn Gyfarwyddwr Discipine ar gyfer Peirianneg Electronig ac Electronig yng Nghaerdydd rhwng 2003-2006, ac eto rhwng 2014-2017. Rwyf wedi dal rolau UG/MSc Arholwr Allanol ym Mhrifysgol Birmingham (2003-2006), Prifysgol Heriott Watt (2012-2017), Prifysgol Surrey (2015-2019) a Phrifysgol Lancaster (2021-).
Enillais "Wobr Athro'r Flwyddyn", y pleidleisiodd myfyrwyr Caerdydd, tair gwaith ar ddeg ers ei urddo yn 2005.
