Mae Annie Pye yn Athro Emerita mewn Astudiaethau Sefydliad. Mae ei diddordebau ymchwil yn cynnwys arweinyddiaeth a llywodraethu, newid rheolaeth a threfniadaeth ar draws amser a gofod/cyd-destun. Mae hi'n mabwysiadu persbectif gwneud synhwyrau sy'n canolbwyntio ar broses ac yn cynnal ymchwil ansoddol i sut mae pobl yn 'rhedeg' sefydliadau cymhleth ac yn trefnu i sicrhau dibynadwyedd uchel.
Cyhoeddir gwaith Annie hefyd mewn cyfnodolion gan gynnwys Organization Science, Organisation Studies, Human Relations, Journal of Management Studies, Management Learning, British Management Journal and Corporate Governance: an International Review. Mae ei hymchwil hefyd wedi'i chyhoeddi yn y Financial Times, Daily Telegraph a chyfryngau eraill a chylchgronau City.
Ar hyn o bryd mae hi'n cyd-olygu Rhifyn Arbennig o Ddysgu Rheoli (gyda Dr Ian Colville a'r Athro Andrew Brown) ar Sensemaking and Learning (a gyhoeddir yn gynnar yn 2016). Yn ddiweddar mae hi hefyd wedi cydolygu rhifyn arbennig o gysylltiadau dynol (gyda Dr Ian Colville a'r Athro Andrew Brown) ar Gwneud Synnwyr, Trefnu ac Adrodd Storïau (cyhoeddwyd Ionawr 2012).
