Diddordebau Ymchwil
Fy mhrif ddiddordebau yw datblygiad gweledol mewn plant â syndrom Downs ac anghenion gofal llygaid plant ac oedolion ag anableddau. Mae gen i ddiddordeb hefyd mewn sut mae nam ar y golwg yn effeithio ar addysg a sgiliau bywyd bob dydd.
Rwyf eisoes wedi dylunio prawf, megis Prawf Aciwtedd Caerdydd, Prawf Cyferbyniad Caerdydd a Phrawf Agos Caerdydd, at y diben hwn. Mae fy nghydweithwyr a minnau yn parhau â'n hastudiaeth hirdymor o ddatblygiad gweledol a gwybyddol mewn babanod a phlant ifanc â Syndrom Down, sydd mewn perygl arbennig o ddiffygion llygaid. Fy niddordebau eraill yw etioleg diffygion plygiannol ac accommodative, ac effaith nam ar y golwg ar ddatblygiad ac addysg plentyn.
Trosolwg o Addysgu
Ar y cwrs israddedig, rwy'n arweinydd modiwl ar gyfer OP3103, Golwg Deunosdrych ac Anghenion Arbennig Ar gyfer ôl-raddedigion, rwy'n arweinydd modiwl ar y cyd ar gyfer OPT006 Gofal Llygaid Pediatrig (Theori), OPT033 Gofal Llygaid Pediatrig Uwch (Ymarferol), OPT033 Gofal Llygaid Pediatrig Uwch ac ar gyfer OPT007 Gofal Llygaid i Bobl ag Anableddau Dysgu.
