Professor Stefan Berger is a German historian of international standing with strong ties to the UK, Wales and Cardiff University.
Professor Berger has published widely in the field of nationalism and national identity studies, historiography and historical theory, comparative labour studies, and the history of industrial heritage.
He has collaborated with Dr Heiko Feldner and Professor David Jackson from the German department on various research projects.
