Mae Eslam yn ymchwilydd PhD o fewn y Grŵp Peirianneg Feddygol. Mae ei ymchwil yn canolbwyntio ar sensitifrwydd nodweddion radiomig i baramedrau caffael CT, gan ddefnyddio efelychu a phantomau cyfrifiadurol gweadog syntheseiddio. Trwy ddefnyddio offer fel XCIST a GATE, mae'n anelu at feintioli sut mae'r paramedrau hyn yn dylanwadu ar sefydlogrwydd nodweddion i wella dibynadwyedd dadansoddiad meintiol mewn diagnosteg feddygol.

Mae Eslam Taha yn ymchwilydd PhD yn y Grŵp Peirianneg Feddygol ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd, sy'n arbenigo mewn efelychu a synthesis ffantomau gweadog realistig ar gyfer delweddu meddygol meintiol. Mae ei ymchwil gyfredol yn ymchwilio i sensitifrwydd nodweddion radiomig i baramedrau caffael CT, gan ddefnyddio pecynnau cymorth efelychu uwch fel XCIST a GATE i wella dibynadwyedd diagnosteg glinigol.
Cyn ymuno â Phrifysgol Caerdydd, gwasanaethodd Eslam fel Pennaeth Adrannau Gwyddonol a Thechnegol yn y Ganolfan Hyfforddiant ac Amddiffyn rhag Ymbelydredd ym Mhrifysgol King Abdulaziz (KAU) yn Saudi Arabia. Yn y rôl hon, rheolodd raglenni hyfforddi a gwasanaethau ymbelydredd a gweithredodd fel Prif Swyddog Diogelwch Ymbelydredd. Mae ganddo brofiad helaeth fel Arbenigwr Ffiseg Feddygol ac mae'n Swyddog Diogelwch Ymbelydredd Ardystiedig (RSO) gan Gomisiwn Rheoleiddio Niwclear a Radiolegol Saudi.
Mae arbenigedd technegol Eslam yn rhychwantu modelu cyfrifiadurol, amddiffyn rhag ymbelydredd a dylunio peirianneg. Mae ganddo ddau batent yn yr Unol Daleithiau sy'n gysylltiedig â systemau radiograffeg gama a dulliau cynhyrchu Actinium-225. Mae ei gefndir hefyd yn cynnwys profiad addysgu sylweddol mewn cyrsiau fel Hanfodion Peirianneg Niwclear, Delweddu Meddygol, ac Efelychu Monte Carlo.
