Ymchwil
Rwyf wedi ymrwymo i gydgynhyrchu o fewn ymchwil ac ymarfer clinigol ac mae gen i brofiad o arwain y gwaith o ddatblygu rhwydwaith ledled Cymru i weithredu hyn. Datblygais y diddordeb hwn mewn rolau sy'n cefnogi ymchwil er enghraifft yn Ymddiriedolaeth Wellcome, a Chyngor Gweithredu Gwirfoddol Cymru.
Rwyf wedi bod yn ffodus i weithio gyda'r Athro Jonathan Bisson a Neil Roberts a chydweithwyr eraill yn y Grŵp Ymchwil Straen Trawmatig ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd. Mae hyn wedi cynnwys gwerthuso ymyriadau i drin PTSD, gan gynnwys CBT Ffocws ar Drawma Hunangymorth Tywysedig ar y we ar gyfer PTSD ysgafn i gymedrol. Roedd fy PhD yn ymwneud â derbynioldeb y driniaeth hon i gleifion ac i therapyddion.
Mae gen i ddiddordeb arbennig mewn cymorth cymdeithasol fel ffactor amddiffynnol ym maes iechyd meddwl, gan gynnwys anhwylderau sy'n gysylltiedig â thrawma, ac rwyf wedi cyhoeddi yn yr ardal. Yn fy rôl fel Seicolegydd Clinigol dan Hyfforddai, rwy'n cynnal ymchwil bellach sy'n archwilio a yw cymorth cymdeithasol canfyddedig yn ffactor amddiffynnol mewn iechyd meddwl amenedigol.
