Bywgraffiad:
Graddiais o Brifysgol Technoleg Amirkabir - Tehran Polytechnic (Iran), gyda BSc mewn Peirianneg Sifil yn 2001 ac MSc mewn Peirianneg Dŵr yn 2005. Roeddwn hefyd yn gweithio fel peirianneg sifil ar wahanol lefelau, cyn i mi ddechrau ar fy PhD gan gynnwys yn ystod fy astudiaethau israddedig a meistr.
Roedd fy ymchwil PhD yn canolbwyntio ar wella modelau rhifol hydro-amgylcheddol 1D a 2D amrywiol trwy wella amodau ffiniau, cynyddu effeithlonrwydd modelau, cysylltu cymwysiadau enghreifftiol yn cydymffurfio â safon OpenMI, datblygu rhyngwyneb defnyddiwr graffigol hawdd ei ddefnyddio ac ymgorffori modelau rhifiadol i mewn i feddalwedd GIS ochr yn ochr â mireinio modelau gan ddefnyddio data labordy. Trwy efrydiaeth Halcrow (Jacobs bellach), roeddwn hefyd yn datblygu ISIS 2D ac yn cysylltu'r model ag ISIS 1D (mae'r ddau yn gydrannau o Flood Modeller Pro nawr).
Gweithiais fel cydymaith ymchwil ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd o fis Chwefror 2010 i fis Medi 2013, gan weithio ar ddau brosiect gwahanol ar yr un pryd. Roedd un o'r prosiectau'n cynnwys datblygu modelau hydro-amgylcheddol i ragweld ansawdd dŵr ar safle peilot, sef Bae Abertawe, a darparu gwell dealltwriaeth o ffynonellau llygredd, i gynorthwyo i gynnal traethau Baner Las y DU trwy gwrdd â Chyfarwyddeb Dŵr Ymdrochi newydd yr UE. Roedd y prosiect arall yn cynnwys datblygu modelau hydro-amgylcheddol i efelychu effeithiau hydro-amgylcheddol amrywiol gynlluniau ynni adnewyddadwy morol, gan gynnwys tyrbinau llif llanw a chynlluniau amrediad llanw, fel morlynnoedd llanw a morgloddiau.
