Rwy'n Gyfarwyddwr Astudiaeth Aml-garfan Addysg WISERD ac yn Ddarlithydd yn Ysgol y Gwyddorau Cymdeithasol, lle rwy'n addysgu ar fodiwlau addysg a chymdeithaseg.
Mae fy niddordebau ymchwil yn cynnwys hawliau, asesu a thegwch plant mewn addysg. Mae gen i ddiddordeb hefyd mewn mudiadau cymdeithasol plant a gweithredu amgylcheddol. Yn ddiweddar, roeddwn yn gynghorydd ar Gwricwlwm Dysgu'r Dyfodol ar gyfer Newid Hinsawdd: adolygiad o newidiadau trac o'r cwricwlwm cenedlaethol i Loegr. Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n gweithio ar brosiect ar weithgarwch plant a phobl ifanc yng Nghymru gyda chydweithwyr yng Nghaerdydd.
Yn ystod fy nghyfnod yng Nghaerdydd rwyf wedi cwblhau dau brosiect ar gyfer Comisiynydd Plant Cymru, gan gynnwys adolygiad tystiolaeth ar hawliau dynol plant yng Nghymru.
Cyn ymuno â Phrifysgol Caerdydd, cwblheais fy PhD mewn Addysg yn y Ganolfan Hawliau Plant, Prifysgol Queen's Belfast. Roedd hwn yn brosiect dulliau cymysg a ddefnyddiodd ddull hawliau plant i nodi barn a phrofiadau myfyrwyr o TGAU a'u diwygio yng Ngogledd Iwerddon a Chymru. Wrth gwblhau fy ndoethuriaeth gweithiais fel Cymrawd Ymchwil ar brosiect ym Mhrifysgol Rhydychen a Phrifysgol Queen's Belfast yn ymchwilio i ragweladwyedd arholiadau Tystysgrif Gadael yng Ngweriniaeth Iwerddon.
