Mae prosiectau ymchwil yn y gorffennol yn cynnwys defnydd moesegol ac arferion busnes cyfrifol yn y diwydiant gemwaith, ardystiadau ecolabel, defnydd moesegol hyblyg o dwristiaid yn St Ives ac ymddygiad amgylcheddol ymwybodol defnyddwyr Emiradau Arabaidd Unedig. Mae hi'n Aelod Bwrdd Golygyddol Annals of Tourism Research ac Annals of Tourism Research Empirical Insights. Mae Carmela wedi cael ei phenodi'n Gadeirydd Pwyllgor Moeseg Ymchwil yr Ysgol.
