Trosolwyg
Ar hyn o bryd, rwy'n Rheolwr Data ar gyfer Thema Ymchwil Seicosis yn y Ganolfan Geneteg a Genomeg Niwroseiciatrig. Rwy'n goruchwylio casglu a llywodraethu data o grantiau mawr ac yn rheoli ei guradu a'i ddefnyddio ar brosiectau ymchwil, ac rwy'n gyfrifol am weithredu Cynlluniau Rheoli Data ar gyfer data clinigol, demograffig a genomig. Mae'r rôl hon yn rhoi'r cyfle breintiedig i weithio gydag ef yn uniongyrchol ac mewn cydweithrediad â lluosog Arweinwyr rhyngwladol mewn ymchwil seiciatryddol.
Fy rôl flaenorol oedd yn y Ganolfan Ymchwil Genomeg yn Ysgol y Biowyddorau. Yno roeddwn yn gyfrifol am gynhyrchu data dilyniannu cenhedlaeth nesaf o ansawdd uchel ar gyfer ystod amrywiol o brosiectau o fiofeddygaeth i ecoleg.
Cyn fy swydd gyda Chanolfan Ymchwil Genomeg, roeddwn yn Rheolwr Ymchwil ar gyfer y Grŵp Ymchwil Alzheimer. Roeddwn yn gyfrifol am weithredu'r Tîm Geneteg Clefyd Alzheimer, cynllunio, trefnu a chyflwyno prosiectau o fewn y Brifysgol ac mewn cydweithrediad â gwyddonwyr byd-enwog. Roeddwn hefyd yn gyfrifol am ran helaeth o gyllid ymchwil a rheoli grantiau ac yn darparu cyngor ac arweiniad proffesiynol ar reoli samplau ymchwil a Dynol Prosesau a gweithdrefnau cydymffurfio Deddf Meinweoedd.
Cyn fy rôl reoli, roeddwn yn bennaf mewn labordy ac yn arwain nifer o brosiectau ymchwil labordy ar gyfer Tîm Ymchwil Parkinson's.
Rwy'n aelod o'r Sefydliad Gwyddoniaeth a Thechnoleg ac rwyf wedi derbyn cofrestriad proffesiynol (RSci) gan y Cyngor Gwyddoniaeth.
