Mae Dan Bristow yn Athro Ymarfer, sy'n arwain gweithgareddau arloesi ac ymgysylltu Canolfan Polisi Cyhoeddus Cymru i syntheseiddio a defnyddio tystiolaeth ymchwil ar gyfer Gweinidogion Cymru ac arweinwyr gwasanaethau cyhoeddus
Fel Cyd-I a Chyfarwyddwr Polisi ac Ymarfer WCPP mae wedi helpu i sefydlu dull arobryn sy'n cael ei arwain gan alw i ysgogi tystiolaeth ymchwil. Mae hyn wedi cynnwys dylunio a chyflwyno model sy'n cefnogi Gweinidogion Llywodraeth Cymru, ac arweinwyr y sector cyhoeddus i gael mynediad, deall a defnyddio'r dystiolaeth orau sydd ar gael.
Mae hefyd yn Gyd-Arweinydd Cydweithrediad Ymchwil Penderfynyddion Iechyd NIHR, Rhondda Cynon Taf – buddsoddiad o £5 miliwn a fydd yn creu seilwaith newydd i gysylltu ymchwil â pholisi ac ymarfer, ac yn dod ag unigolion a sefydliadau at ei gilydd gyda'r nod clir o wella canlyniadau iechyd trigolion Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Dechreuodd ei yrfa yn gweithio yng ngwasanaeth sifil y DU a sefydliadau'r trydydd sector. Dros y degawd diwethaf, mae wedi gweithio yn y rhyngwyneb rhwng tystiolaeth academaidd a pholisi cyhoeddus / gwneud penderfyniadau yn y sector cyhoeddus.
