Cydlynydd Cymru ar gyfer y prosiect Monitro Cyfryngau Byd-eang (gwirfoddolwr) yn archwilio cynrychiolaeth rhywedd yn y newyddion ar draws pum mlynedd monitro (2000, 2005, 2010, 2015 a 2020) ar draws mwy na 120 o wledydd. Mae'r dadansoddiad hydredol pwysig hwn yn llywio addysg ac ymarfer newyddiaduraeth, llunio polisi ac ymchwil academaidd ledled y byd ac fe'i hystyrir yn astudiaeth feincnod allweddol yn y maes.
