Ymchwil
Ar hyn o bryd mae fy ymchwil yn archwilio pa rôl mae celloedd imiwnedd, yn enwedig celloedd-T, yn ei chwarae yn ystod Glioblastoma (GBM). Mae gen i ddiddordeb mewn archwilio sut y gallwn ddylunio triniaethau newydd ar gyfer y clefyd angheuol hwn sy'n un o'r canserau sydd wedi goroesi'n wael. Nid oes unrhyw therapïau effeithiol ar gyfer GBM gyda chyfraddau goroesi o rhwng 12 a 15 mis, felly nod y gwaith a wnawn yw mynd i'r afael â'r broblem hon a gwneud newidiadau cam allweddol yn ein dealltwriaeth o'r rhyngwyneb rhwng y system imiwnedd a thiwmor yr ymennydd.
