I am the Wales Kidney Research Unit research manager, coordinating WKRU research work across sites and stakeholder groups. I organise the activities of the WKRU board and senior management team meetings. I line manage the WKRU research technician, responsible for tissue bank activity, and have oversight of other staff activity.
I gained expertise as a research manager in the Health and Care Research Wales-funded All Wales Kidney Research Network and in the NHS. I am study coordinator for the current UK multi-centre portfolio study “PERIT-PD” and facilitate portfolio study adoption and activity.
