Trosolwyg
Derbyniais PhD o Brifysgol Polytechnig Hong Kong yn 2012 gyda thesis mewn ferroelectrics. Ar wahân i thesis, gweithiais hefyd ar bynciau fel uwch-ddargludyddion tymheredd uchel a dynameg polymer yn ogystal â systemau cwantwm agored. Yn fuan ar ôl cael PhD, ymunais â'r Sefydliad Cenedlaethol ar gyfer Gwyddor Deunyddiau (NIMS) yn Tsukuba, Japan fel dogfen bost yn gwneud ymchwil ar systemau graphene, lle dyfarnwyd cymrodoriaeth dwy flynedd i mi gan Gymdeithas Japan ar gyfer Hyrwyddo Gwyddoniaeth (JSPS). Ar ôl treulio peth amser yng Nghaerwysg (~ 3 blynedd, cyseinyddion Josephson) a Manceinion (~ 1 flwyddyn, deunyddiau van der Waals), deuthum i Brifysgol Caerdydd fel Darlithydd yn 2019. Fel ffisegydd, rwy'n cael llawer o hwyl wrth ddarganfod sut mae natur yn gweithio. Mae fy niddordebau ymchwil yn eang (gwiriwch fy nghyhoeddiadau), sy'n canolbwyntio ar hyn o bryd ar effeithiau ffiniau corfforol, ynysyddion topolegol a systemau cymhleth (e.e. sbectol a rhwydweithiau), ac maent i gyd yn cyfrannu mewn un ffordd neu'r llall wrth baentio darlun cydlynol o Natur i mi.
