Uwch Ddarlithydd (Athro Cyswllt) mewn Cyllid
- Ar gael fel goruchwyliwr ôl-raddedig
Trosolwyg
Rwy'n Athro Cyswllt mewn Cyllid yn Ysgol Busnes Caerdydd. Cyn ymuno â Phrifysgol Caerdydd, roeddwn i'n gweithio yn Kent Business School, UK. Mae gennyf PhD mewn Cyllid o Ysgol Fusnes Hull, y DU (2016). Derbyniais radd MSc (gyda Rhagoriaeth) mewn Rheolaeth Ariannol (2011) a BSc mewn Economeg (2007).
Fy mhrif ddiddordebau ymchwil yw ym meysydd cyllid corfforaethol empirig, llywodraethu, ymddygiad rheolaethol, a buddsoddiadau ynni adnewyddadwy. Yn fy ngwaith diweddar, rwy'n ceisio deall y rhesymau y tu ôl i'r penderfyniadau dadrestru gwirfoddol o gyfnewidfeydd a nodi'r amser gorau posibl i ymrestru.
Hefyd, nodweddir fy ymchwil gan natur ryngddisgyblaethol lle mae'n ehangu i feysydd mewn Seicoleg (cyllid ymddygiadol), Economeg (buddsoddiadau ynni adnewyddadwy), Cyfrifiadureg (buddsoddiadau seiberddiogelwch), a'r Gyfraith (llywodraethu corfforaethol). Felly, rwy'n ffynnu i ddarparu gwerth economaidd a chymdeithasol trwy fy ymchwil ryngddisgyblaethol sy'n cyd-fynd yn dda â chenhadaeth gwerth cyhoeddus Ysgol Busnes Caerdydd.
Rwyf wedi cyhoeddi mewn cyfnodolion fel y Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial Markets, Energy Economics, a Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, ymhlith eraill.
Rwyf wedi derbyn tua £200,000 o gyllid ymchwil. Ariannwyd y prosiect diweddaraf ar y cyd gan y sefydliad mawreddog yn llywodraeth y DU National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) a'r Sefydliad Ymchwil mewn Seiberddiogelwch Cymdeithasol-dechnegol (RISCS). Nod y prosiect oedd cefnogi BBaChau gyda phenderfyniadau seiberddiogelwch a'u cynorthwyo i greu amgylchedd seiberddiogelwch iach. Gellir dod o hyd i ddrafft cyntaf y canllaw YMA®.
Cyn dechrau ar fy PhD mewn Cyllid, rwyf wedi cael sawl blwyddyn o brofiad gwaith proffesiynol gan gynnwys y sector bancio. Roedd fy mhrofiad mewn diwydiant ynghyd â'm cyflawniadau academaidd yn caniatáu i mi ddarparu hyfforddiant corfforaethol wedi'i deilwra o'r radd flaenaf a gweithredu fel ymgynghorydd i sawl corfforaeth.
