Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n Gydymaith Ymchwil ar gyfer y prosiect FRAME a ariennir gan yr ERC dan arweiniad yr Athro Richard Madgwick, sy'n gweithio ar ddadansoddiad aml-isotop o esgyrn a grawnfwydydd anifeiliaid i ddatgelu'r strategaethau a gefnogodd filwyr Rhufeinig ar draws ffiniau yn Ewrop.
Mae fy ymchwil yn cyfuno dadansoddiad aml-isotop o olion bio-archeolegol, osteoleg ddynol a data archeolegol i ailadeiladu symudedd dynol yn y gorffennol, gyda ffocws penodol ond nid yn unigryw ar yr Eidal o'r Oes Haearn. Yn ddiweddar, rwyf wedi cwblhau fy mhrosiect Cymrodoriaeth Ôl-ddoethurol Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSCA) TULAR ym Mhrifysgol Bologna, sy'n archwilio symudedd dynol mewn safleoedd Proto-Etrusca/Villanovan ar draws Penrhyn yr Eidal.
Cyn hynny, roeddwn yn Gymrawd Rhufain yn yr Ysgol Brydeinig yn Rhufain (BSR), ac yn Gydymaith Ymchwil ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd yn gweithio ar brosiect FEASTNET a ariennir gan AHRC ar ddadansoddiad aml-isotop o esgyrn anifeiliaid o'r Oes Efydd – Haearn Prydain.
Mae fy niddordebau ymchwil yn cynnwys:
• Dadansoddiad aml-isotop o weddillion dynol (wedi'u hamlosgi a'u claddu) ac anifeiliaid
• Diwylliant Villanovan ac Etrwscaidd yr Eidal cyn-Rufeinig
• Symudedd dynol a ffiniau athraidd
• Ailadeiladu hanes bywyd
• Datblygiadau mewn osteoleg Ddynol
