Ymchwil
Mae fy ymchwil yn canolbwyntio ar iechyd meddwl a lles myfyrwyr, gyda ffocws penodol ar fyfyrwyr yn y proffesiynau gofal iechyd, yn ogystal â hyfforddiant Cydraddoldeb ac Amrywiaeth o fewn gofal iechyd.
Rwy'n Gyd-ymchwilydd ar gyfer Nurture-U, prosiect ymchwil cenedlaethol sy'n dod o hyd i ffyrdd gwell o gefnogi myfyrwyr prifysgol gyda'u lles a'u hiechyd meddwl. Rydym yn bartner gyda'r prosiect U-Flourish sydd wedi'i leoli ym Mhrifysgol Queen's, Canada.
Roeddwn yn un o gyd-sylfaenwyr y Rhwydwaith Ymchwil Anhwylder Deubegynol (BDRN), grŵp o ymchwilwyr, clinigwyr a chyfranogwyr ymchwil yn y DU sy'n ymchwilio i achosion sylfaenol anhwylder deubegynol. Hyd yn hyn mae mwy na chyfranogwyr 7500 wedi cael eu recriwtio i BDRN, sef un o'r sampl fwyaf o unigolion ag anhwylder deubegynol yn y byd.
Roeddwn hefyd yn Brif Ymchwilydd ar gyfer y Ganolfan Genedlaethol ar gyfer Iechyd Meddwl, canolfan ymchwil a sefydlwyd i ddysgu mwy am achosion problemau meddyliol , gyda'r nod o ddatblygu diagnosis, triniaeth a chefnogaeth well ar gyfer y dyfodol.
Addysgu
Cyfarwyddwr Fy Uned Datblygu Dysgu Meddygon
Rwy'n arwain ar Gymorth Iechyd a Lles i Fyfyrwyr yn yr Ysgol Feddygaeth, a hefyd yn arwain ar gynnwys cwricwla UG Iechyd a Lles yn yr Ysgol.

Rwy'n oruchwyliwr ymchwil ar gyfer myfyrwyr UG a PG, yn ogystal ag arholwr mewnol ac allanol.
Rwy'n Swyddog Diogelu Dynodedig (ar gyfer myfyrwyr) ac yn aelod o Bwyllgor Diogelu'r Brifysgol.
Bywgraffiad
Cyn i mi gael fy mhenodi'n Ddarlithydd mewn Meddygaeth Seicolegol ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd yn 2013 [dyrchafiad i Uwch Ddarlithydd 2018, Darllenydd 2023], gweithiais fel ymchwilydd ôl-ddoethurol yn yr Is-adran Meddygaeth Seicolegol a Niwrowyddorau Clinigol ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd. Cwblheais MSc mewn Addysg Feddygol yn 2016 a chwblheais fy PhD mewn meddygaeth seicolegol yng Nghaerdydd yn 2009. Roedd fy nhraethawd ymchwil yn canolbwyntio ar ddyrannu ffenoteip clinigol anhwylderau affeithiol deubegynol ac unipolar. Cyn dechrau fy astudiaethau PhD yng Nghaerdydd, gweithiais fel ymchwilydd ym Mhrifysgol Birmingham ar astudiaethau genetig ar raddfa fawr o anhwylderau hwyliau.
