Trosolwyg
Ar hyn o bryd yn gwasanaethu fel Darllenydd mewn Troseddeg yn Ysgol Gwyddorau Cymdeithasol Prifysgol Caerdydd, mae fy arbenigedd yn troi o gwmpas marchnadoedd cyffuriau anghyfreithlon a marchnadoedd anghyfreithlon ehangach. Mae fy ymchwil yn ymchwilio i fasnachu pobl ac yn archwilio sut mae technolegau digidol yn ail-lunio marchnadoedd anghyfreithlon traddodiadol.
Mae fy ngwaith yn cael ei gydnabod yn fyd-eang ac mae wedi'i gyhoeddi mewn nifer o gyfnodolion rhyngwladol uchel eu parch a adolygir gan gymheiriaid, gan gynnwys y International Journal of Drug Policy, Crime and Justice, European Journal of Criminology, British Journal of Criminology, Drug and Alcohol Dependence a Social Networks.
Rwyf wedi llwyddo i gynhyrchu incwm ymchwil sy'n fwy na £1.5 miliwn, gyda chyllid gan ffynonellau cenedlaethol a rhyngwladol fel yr ESRC, EPSRC, y Comisiwn Ewropeaidd, a'r Swyddfa Gartref. Mae fy ngwaith hefyd yn gydweithredol, gan fy mod yn aml yn partneru gyda'r Labordy Gwyddor Data Cymdeithasol a'rLabordy Casineb, gan ddefnyddio fy sgiliau i ddadansoddi cymunedau ar-lein a chymhwyso dadansoddiad rhwydwaith cymdeithasol i ddata'r cyfryngau cymdeithasol.
Cyn cofleidio fy swydd bresennol, dilynais fy PhD yn yr Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore ym Milan wrth weithio fel ymchwilydd yn Transcrime, taith a oedd yn rhychwantu rhwng 2011 a 2015 Treuliais amser hefyd fel ysgolhaig gwadd ym Mhrifysgol Maryland, Parc y Coleg rhwng Awst 2013 a Chwefror 2014, gan gydweithio â'r Athro Peter Reuter.
Rwyf bob amser yn agored i ystyried cynigion gan ddarpar fyfyrwyr PhD sy'n rhannu diddordeb yn fy meysydd arbenigedd, gan gynnwys marchnadoedd anghyfreithlon, masnachu mewn pobl, troseddau cyfundrefnol, a masnachu anghyfreithlon ar-lein.
