Bywgraffiad
Astudiais Beirianneg Drydanol yng Ngholeg Prifysgol Dulyn, gan raddio ym 1976, ac ar ôl hynny gweithiais mewn diwydiant cyn gwneud MSc mewn Astrophsyics ac yna PhD mewn Astroffiseg yng Ngholeg Queen Mary Llundain, gan raddio ym 1985. Arhosais yn Queen Mary tan 2001, pan ymunais â'r Grŵp Offeryniaeth Seryddiaeth ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd.
