Rwy'n addysgu ar yr MA mewn Ysgrifennu Creadigol ac ar amrywiaeth o fodiwlau Israddedig.
Yn ystod y blynyddoedd diwethaf rwyf wedi arbenigo mewn modiwlau addysgu mewn (a) naratif ffeithiol; (b) ffuglen gyffredinol; (c) micro-ffuglen a'r gerdd ryddiaith.
Rwyf wedi goruchwylio ystod eang o fyfyrwyr PhD dros y pymtheng mlynedd diwethaf.
Bywgraffiad
Dechreuais fy ngyrfa academaidd fel ieithydd, ac roedd fy nghyhoeddiadau academaidd cyntaf yn semioteg salwch a sosioieithyddiaeth ryngbersonol. Ar yr un pryd roeddwn i'n cyhoeddi barddoniaeth, ac yn 2003 fe wnes i drosglwyddo o adran 'Iaith a Chyfathrebu' yr Ysgol i 'Llenyddiaeth Saesneg.' Ers hynny rwyf wedi cyhoeddi dau gasgliad arall o farddoniaeth, dwy flodeugerdd o farddoniaeth, tair nofel, nifer o erthyglau a straeon, a chofiant, The Vagabond's Breakfast, a enillodd Wobr Llyfr y Flwyddyn Cymru yn 2012. Fy nofel ddiweddaraf yw The Blue Tent (2019).
Rwyf hefyd yn gweithio fel cyfieithydd o'r Sbaeneg, ac wedi cyhoeddi blodeugerdd fawr o Farddoniaeth America Ladin, The Other Tiger (2016) a oedd yn cynnwys cerddi gan 97 bardd o 16 gwlad. Ysgrifennodd Edith Grossman 'dyma lyfr sy'n perthyn ym mhob llyfrgell . . . Mae'r cyfieithiadau yn hyfryd ac i'r pwynt.' Rwyf hefyd wedi cyhoeddi casgliadau o farddoniaeth gan y beirdd o'r Ariannin Joaquín O. Giannuzzi a Jorge Fondebrider. Fy llyfr cyfieithu diweddaraf yw detholiad o gerddi gan Darío Jaramillo Colombia, o'r enw Impossible Loves (2019).
