Trosolwyg
Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n Gydymaith Ymchwil mewn cosmoleg yn yr Ysgol Ffiseg a Seryddiaeth ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd.
Erbyn hyn mae gen i ychydig o ddiddordebau ymchwil gwahanol mewn cosmoleg arsylwadol ac ystadegol, ond fy mhrif faes gwaith yw datblygu dulliau trawsberthyniad rhwng Cefndir Microdon Cosmig ac arsyllfeydd eraill ar gyfer Arsyllfa Simon.
Rwyf wedi gweithio ar lensio disgyrchiant gwan, yn y radio gyda'r arolwg SuperCLASS a'r Telesgop SKAO yn y dyfodol, ac yn y optegol gyda'r Arolwg Ynni Tywyll (DES). Mae gen i ddiddordeb hefyd mewn ffyrdd newydd o gyfuno data tonnau radio a disgyrchol i wneud cosmoleg, ac mewn cosmoleg gyda nifer clwstwr galaethau cyfrif. Rwy'n un o sylfaenwyr y SkyPy Collaboration, sy'n anelu at greu modelau ymlaen ar gyfer efelychiad cydlynol o arsyllfeydd seryddol ar draws pob band tonnau(!).

Cefais MSci o Goleg Imperial Llundain mewn Ffiseg gyda Ffiseg Ddamcaniaethol yn 2010 a PhD mewn Astroffiseg o Brifysgol Caerdydd yn 2013. Yn ystod fy PhD gweithiais dan oruchwyliaeth yr Athro Peter Coles ar gosmoleg gydag ystadegau gwerth eithafol.
Ers hynny rwyf wedi bod yn Gydymaith Ymchwil ym Mhrifysgol Manceinion rhwng 2013 a 2021 (ac yn parhau i fod yn ymwelydd yno). Roeddwn hefyd yn ymwelydd tymor hir ac yna'n Gynorthwyydd Ymchwil Ôl-ddoethurol ym Mhrifysgol Rhydychen rhwng 2018 a 2021.
