Ymchwil
Mae fy niddordebau ymchwil yn cynnwys gwahaniaeth gweladwy ac effaith seicolegol byw gyda chyflwr croen (e.e. psoriasis, ecsema, acne, vitiligo, ichthyosis, epidermolysis bullosa ac ati). Rwy'n angerddol am godi ymwybyddiaeth o'r angen am gymorth seicolegol mewn gofal dermatolegol arferol ledled y DU, gan gynnwys ymchwilio i'r defnydd o ymyriadau sy'n seiliedig ar ymwybyddiaeth ofalgar i gefnogi lles teuluoedd sy'n cael eu heffeithio gan gyflyrau croen prin.
Rwyf wedi cyhoeddi sawl astudiaeth empirig, gan gynnwys fy nhraethawd hir israddedig: stigma, gorbryder ymddangosiad cymdeithasol ac ymdopi mewn dynion a menywod â chyflyrau croen, a thraethawd hir fy meistr: profiadau dicter ar ddechrau a dilyniant soriasis. Rwyf hefyd wedi cyhoeddi peth o'm hymchwil doethurol, gan ymchwilio i brofiad rhiant a phlentyn o gyflyrau'r croen: perthnasedd ar gyfer darparu ymyriadau seiliedig ar ymwybyddiaeth ofalgar (fideo awdur yma), ac adolygiad systematig o ymyriadau seiliedig ar ymwybyddiaeth ofalgar ar gyfer plant, pobl ifanc a'u rhieni.
