Trosolwyg
I am responsible for the overall scientific management and operation of the trace element and isotope facility housed within the School of Earth and Environmental Science. This facility comprises 7 mass and atomic spectrometers, 2 laser ablation systems and a class 1000 clean laboratory suite, together designed for trace, ultra-trace and isotope ratio measurements of a range of samples matrices. The facility supports cross university research interests involving the schools of EARTH, SHARE, BIOSCI, MEDIC, PHARMY and ENGIN.

Ymchwil
As a geologist by training my background is in isotope ratio geochemistry applied to metamorphic and igneous processes. A significant portion of my career has focused on the development of new analytical protocols to address a range of geological problems. I am becoming increasingly interested in the use of inorganic mass spectrometry for novel applications, in the fields of biology, archaeology and medicine.
