Cymrawd Ymchwil, GOFAL a CTR
Trosolwyg
Rwy'n Gymrawd Ymchwil yng Nghanolfan Ymchwil Gofal Cymdeithasol i Oedolion (CARE) Prifysgol Caerdydd, sy'n arbenigo mewn gwyddoniaeth weithredu mewn gofal cymdeithasol i oedolion. Mae fy ngwaith yn archwilio sut mae ymyriadau, gwasanaethau a pholisïau yn cael eu mabwysiadu, eu haddasu a'u cynnal yn ymarferol, a sut y gellir cryfhau prosesau gweithredu i wella canlyniadau i bobl sy'n tynnu ar ofal a chymorth.
Mae gen i ddiddordeb arbennig mewn gweithredu ymyriadau mewn lleoliadau cymhleth, go iawn fel cartrefi gofal a gwasanaethau cymunedol, gan gynnwys gwaith sy'n canolbwyntio ar atal hunanladdiad ac iechyd meddwl. Er bod fy nghefndir mewn dulliau ansoddol ac ethnograffig, mae fy ymchwil gyfredol yn cyfuno ystod ehangach o ddulliau a fframweithiau i gynhyrchu mewnwelediadau sy'n weithredadwy i ymarferwyr, llunwyr polisi, a chymunedau.
Mae fy ngwaith yn cael ei ategu gan ymrwymiad i gydraddoldeb, gan sicrhau bod ymchwil gweithredu yn adlewyrchu anghenion a lleisiau pobl sy'n aml yn ymylol mewn gofal cymdeithasol.
Themâu ymchwil
-
Gweithredu a Gwella mewn Gofal Cymdeithasol i Oedolion
Ymchwilio i sut mae ymyriadau a gwasanaethau yn cael eu darparu, eu mabwysiadu a'u cynnal, a nodi'r ffactorau sefydliadol, gweithlu a pholisi sy'n siapio eu heffaith. -
Atal Hunanladdiad ac Iechyd Meddwl mewn Lleoliadau Gofal
Archwilio sut y gellir cyfieithu dulliau sy'n seiliedig ar dystiolaeth o atal hunanladdiad a chymorth iechyd meddwl yn ymarferol o fewn cyd-destunau gofal cymdeithasol a chymunedol. -
Dulliau ar gyfer Ymchwil Gweithredu
Tynnu ar ddulliau ansoddol, ethnograffig a chymysg i ddeall realiti darparu gofal, gwneud penderfyniadau, ac addasu, wrth hyrwyddo dulliau methodolegol o astudio gweithredu. -
Tegwch ac Ymgysylltu Cynhwysol
Sicrhau bod safbwyntiau amrywiol wedi'u hymgorffori mewn dylunio a gweithredu ymchwil, gan wneud canfyddiadau'n fwy perthnasol ac ymatebol i wahanol brofiadau byw.
