Cydymaith Ymchwil
Trosolwyg
Rwy'n Gydymaith Ymchwil yn CASCADE, lle mae fy ymchwil yn canolbwyntio ar wella canlyniadau i deuluoedd sy'n cysylltu â gwasanaethau cymdeithasol. Rwy'n arbennig o ysgogi gan ddeall sut y gall perthnasoedd oedolion dibynadwy wneud gwahaniaeth i blant a phobl ifanc yn y system gofal. Mae hyn yn ymestyn y tu hwnt i'm diddordebau ymchwil; Rwy'n ofalwr llety â chymorth ar gyfer pobl ifanc yn eu harddegau sy'n gadael gofal ac yn Ymwelydd Annibynnol.
Mae fy niddordebau ymchwil yn cynnwys: dulliau cymunedol o gefnogi perthnasoedd gydol oes i blant mewn / gadael gofal, cyfranogiad teulu mewn achosion llys, a gweithredu a gwerthuso ymyriadau mewn lleoliadau gwaith cymdeithasol statudol. Mae gen i ddiddordeb hefyd mewn deall beth yw ymarfer gwaith cymdeithasol effeithiol. Fel rhan o hyn, arweiniais ar ddatblygiad cronfa ddata PRISM, storfa o recordiadau ymarfer gwaith cymdeithasol. Rwyf wedi treulio cryn dipyn o amser fel ymchwilydd ymgorfforedig mewn Awdurdodau Lleol ledled Cymru a Lloegr, gan roi dealltwriaeth ddofn i mi o gyd-destunau gwaith cymdeithasol statudol.
Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n Brif Ymchwilydd ar Werthuso Effaith a Phroses (IPE) o'r Llwybr Cyfranogiad Pobl Ifanc (YPPP) yn y llys teulu ac ar barodrwydd gwerthuso ar gyfer y rhaglen Penwythnosau, sy'n meithrin perthnasoedd parhaol i bobl ifanc trwy gynnig un penwythnos y mis o gefnogaeth, arweiniad a gweithgareddau hwyliog gyda gofalwr maeth ychwanegol. Rwyf hefyd yn gweithio ar astudiaeth sy'n archwilio barn rhieni, gweithwyr cymdeithasol a phobl â phrofiad gofal ar sut mae arfer gwaith cymdeithasol da yn swnio fel.
Mae gen i arbenigedd mewn methodoleg Q, dulliau cymysg o werthuso, a model rhesymeg a theori datblygu newid. Mae gen i ddiddordeb arbennig mewn datblygu dulliau cadarn o ddadansoddi ansoddol y gellir eu defnyddio mewn gwerthusiadau mewn gofal cymdeithasol plant. Mae fy PhD, astudiaeth achos dulliau cymysg o Ymweld Annibynnol, yn herio dulliau confensiynol o werthuso polisi a chyfrannu at ddeall sut y gall pobl nad ydynt yn weithwyr proffesiynol gefnogi plant mewn gofal i adeiladu rhwydweithiau cymunedol.
