Diddordebau Ymchwil
Mae fy ngwaith yn canolbwyntio ar weithredu ymchwil ffisiotherapi yn ymarferol mewn clefyd Huntington. Yn ddiweddar, rwyf wedi datblygu offer i gefnogi pobl â chlefyd Huntington i fod yn fwy egnïol yn gorfforol, gan adlewyrchu'r canllawiau rhyngwladol ar gyfer ffisiotherapi. Mae'r gwaith hwn wedi datblygu mewn meysydd eraill fel osteoarthritis a phobl sy'n byw gyda chanser. Fel Cadeirydd Gweithgor Ffisiotherapi Rhwydwaith Clefyd Euroepean Huntington, rwy'n cydweithio â ffisiotherapyddion ledled y byd i gefnogi a galluogi'r defnydd o'r dystiolaeth orau mewn ffisiotherapi ar gyfer cymuned Huntington.
Rwyf wedi cadeirio Bwrdd Golygyddol Cymdeithas y Ffisiotherapyddion Siartredig mewn Gofal Anadlol o'r blaen a gellir darllen yr ystod o adolygiadau ac allbynnau yng nghyfnodolyn ACPRC https://www.acprc.org.uk/publications/acprc-journal/ Mae'r gwaith hwn yn cefnogi ffisiotherapyddion cymwys a myfyrwyr gan sicrhau ymarfer seiliedig ar dystiolaeth o ansawdd uchel.
Adlewyrchir yr arbenigedd hwn yn fy addysgu ar draws rhaglenni astudio israddedig, ôl-raddedig a addysgir ac ôl-raddedig, gan gynnwys rheoli ffisiotherapi problemau anadlu a dulliau ymchwil a dadansoddi data.
