Rwy'n ffisegydd arbrofol ac yn mwynhau'r her o adeiladu arbrofion i ateb cwestiynau anodd. Fy mhrif ddiddordeb ymchwil yw ffiseg uwch-ddargludyddion anhrefnus newydd, fel diemwnt gronynnog, a'u cymhwyso i synwyryddion seryddol a dyfeisiau cwantwm. Yn dilyn astudiaethau sylfaenol, yn fy ngwaith diweddaraf, rwy'n astudio'r arsylwi rhyfeddol o ymddygiad llithro cam uwch-ddargludol mewn dyfeisiau diemwnt uwch-ddargludol tri dimensiwn a'r posibilrwydd o gymhwyso tuag at safon bresennol cwantwm. Rwyf hefyd yn gweithio'n agos gyda phartneriaid diwydiannol ar ddatblygu oeryddion cryogenig parhaus ar gyfer telesgopau seryddol is-goch pell ac fel llwyfannau cost isel ar gyfer cyfrifiaduron cwantwm.
