Trosolwyg
Rwy'n ddarlithydd yn yr Academi Meddalwedd Genedlaethol, yr Ysgol Cyfrifiadureg a Gwybodeg, yn addysgu modiwlau israddedig ac ôl-raddedig yn Java a pherfformiad a scalability. Cyn hyn, roeddwn yn Gynorthwyydd Ymchwil ar brosiect SWITCH a ariannwyd gan Horizon 2020 yr UE, gan ymchwilio i sut y gellid addasu mainc waith SWITCH i gefnogi CUDA trwy arbrofion ar Amazon Web Services.
Roedd fy mhrosiect PhD ym maes rhyngddisgyblaethol Biowybodeg. Gweithredais ddulliau ar gyfer dod o hyd i gyd-esblygiad moleciwlaidd ar gardiau graffeg a alluogir gan CUDA, gan ganiatáu i'r dulliau hyn gael eu defnyddio ar y proteome dynol cyfan am y tro cyntaf.

Ymchwil
Mae fy niddordebau ymchwil yn bennaf mewn cyfrifiadura perfformiad uchel (HPC), ac yn enwedig wrth ddefnyddio cardiau graffeg a alluogir gan CUDA. Rwyf hefyd wedi gwneud ymchwil i'r defnydd o CUDA gyda thechnolegau yn y cwmwl.
Addysgu
Rwy'n arweinydd modiwl ar gyfer y modiwlau canlynol:
- Perfformiad a Scalability (2il flwyddyn BSc)
- Egwyddorion ac Ymarfer Rhaglennu (MSc)
Rwyf hefyd yn Diwtor Personol i fyfyrwyr BSc ac MSc, yn goruchwylio prosiectau traethawd hir BSc ac MSc yn eu blwyddyn olaf yn ogystal â myfyrwyr Blwyddyn mewn Diwydiant, ac rwy'n Gyfarwyddwr Recriwtio a Derbyn i COMSC.
Bywgraffiad
Rwyf wedi bod yn Ddarlithydd yn yr Ysgol Cyfrifiadureg a Gwybodeg ers 2018, yn addysgu yn yr Academi Meddalwedd Genedlaethol fel rhan o'n rhaglenni BSc ac MSc. Cyn hyn, gweithiais am ychydig fisoedd fel Athro ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd, a oedd yn cynnwys rhywfaint o ddarlithio (BSc blwyddyn gyntaf yn bennaf) a hefyd marcio gwaith cwrs ac arholiadau.
Ar ôl cwblhau fy PhD yng Nghaerdydd yn 2017, gweithiais am gyfnod byr fel Cynorthwyydd Ymchwil ar brosiect SWITCH a ariennir gan Horizon 2020 yr UE, gan wneud arbrofion sy'n cynnwys cael y cod CUDA a ysgrifennais yn ystod fy PhD i weithio ar achosion Gwasanaethau Gwe Amazon (AWS), ac ymchwilio i sut y gallai mainc waith SWITCH gefnogi CUDA yn y dyfodol. Roedd fy mhrosiect PhD yn fwy eang yn brosiect Biowybodeg, gan fy mod nid yn unig wedi gweithredu dulliau ar gyfer datrys problemau biolegol ar gardiau graffeg a alluogwyd gan CUDA, ond fe wnes i hefyd ddadansoddi'r canlyniadau a gefais o safbwynt Meddygol. Mae fy niddordeb yn y maes diddorol hwn o Gyfrifiadureg yn deillio o fy astudiaeth BSc, hefyd yng Nghaerdydd.
