Trosolwyg
Rwy'n ymchwilydd gwyddorau cymdeithasol sy'n canolbwyntio ar gymdeithas a newid yn yr hinsawdd, yn bennaf:
- Ymgysylltu â'r cyhoedd a chyfathrebu
- Sectorau'r celfyddydau a diwylliant a chwaraeon
- Trawsnewidiadau cymdeithasol ar draws gwahanol sectorau a graddfeydd
Darllenwch fwy am y prif feysydd hyn sy'n canolbwyntio ar y tab ymchwil. Rwy'n awyddus i weithio rhyngddisgyblaethol, yn canolbwyntio ar effaith (e.e. gweithio gyda phartneriaid anacademaidd) ac rwyf hefyd wedi gweithio ar bynciau cymdeithasol ehangach.
Ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd, rwy'n rhan o'r Ganolfan Newid Hinsawdd a Thrawsnewidiadau Cymdeithasol (CAST). Rwyf hefyd yn rhan o Ganolfan Ymchwil Newid Hinsawdd Tyndall ac wedi gweithio i Brifysgol Heriot-Watt a Phrifysgol Rhydychen. Rwyf wedi gweithio ar draws rolau ymchwil llawrydd, sefydliadol ac academaidd ac mae gen i gefndir yn y diwydiant creadigol a chyfathrebu.
Gweler fy ngwefan am restr gyfoes o gyhoeddiadau (dim ond nifer fach sydd wedi'u rhestru yma ar hyn o bryd ar y tab cyhoeddiadau).

Ymchwil
1. Ymgysylltu â'r cyhoedd a chyfathrebu
Mae llawer o'm gwaith yn canolbwyntio ar gyfathrebu newid yn yr hinsawdd ac ymgysylltu â'r cyhoedd - sut i gysylltu'n well ag ystod eang o bobl a'u cynnwys, yn enwedig y rhai nad ydynt fel arfer yn rhan o'r sgwrs yn yr hinsawdd.
Mae hyn yn cynnwys sut i gynnwys pobl hŷn yn y sgwrs yn yr hinsawdd a phrosiect cyd-ddylunio gyda phobl hŷn ynghylch sut i greu dinasoedd a chymunedau cynhwysol, sy'n gyfeillgar i'w hoedran ac yn gallu gwrthsefyll hinsawdd.
Ar ben arall yr ystod oedran, mae hyn wedi cynnwys ymchwil am bobl ifanc a chyfiawnder hinsawdd. Rwyf hefyd wedi archwilio beth yw barn gwahanol rannau o gyhoedd y DU am COP26, y gynhadledd newid hinsawdd a gynhaliwyd yn Glasgow.
2. Sectorau celfyddydau a diwylliant a chwaraeon
Yn wreiddiol o gefndir creadigol, mae sawl un o'm prosiectau wedi archwilio newid yn yr hinsawdd drwy lens greadigol neu'n ymwneud â'r sectorau celfyddydau a diwylliant a chwaraeon.
Mae hyn yn cynnwys gweithio gyda'r diwydiant cerddoriaeth fyw i ddarparu argymhellion ac astudiaethau achos ymarferol ar sut i ennyn diddordeb eu cynulleidfaoedd ar ddewisiadau teithio cynaliadwy mewn digwyddiadau. Rwyf hefyd wedi archwilio sut y gall artistiaid cerddoriaeth ymgysylltu â'u cynulleidfaoedd am newid yn yr hinsawdd.
Yn ogystal, rwyf wedi ymchwilio i sut y gall digwyddiadau celfyddydol a diwylliant ymgysylltu â phobl â newid yn yr hinsawdd ac i ba raddau y mae hyn yn effeithio ar gynulleidfaoedd. Y tu allan i ddigwyddiadau, rwyf hefyd wedi archwilio amrywiaeth mewn ffotograffau o weithgareddau awyr agored.
Mae peth o'm gwaith hefyd yn canolbwyntio ar chwaraeon. Mewn rhinwedd wirfoddol i Gymdeithas Rhedwyr Cwympo Cymru (WFRA), rwyf wedi cyhoeddi canllawiau hinsawdd ac amgylcheddol ac wedi sefydlu eu Gwobrau Amgylcheddol. Rwyf hefyd wedi bod yn westai ar bodlediad yr Academi Hinsawdd Athletwr.
3. Trawsnewidiadau cymdeithasol ar draws gwahanol sectorau a graddfeydd
Mae fy ngwaith yn edrych ar weithredu yn yr hinsawdd mewn gwahanol sectorau ac ar raddfeydd amrywiol i drawsnewid cymdeithas.
Ar gyfer fy PhD, gweithiais ar brosiect mawr am ymatebion prifysgolion i'r argyfwng hinsawdd, gan ganolbwyntio ar eu datganiadau argyfwng hinsawdd a'u diwylliant a'u harferion o fewn y sefydliadau, yn enwedig ar ymgysylltiad ymchwilwyr â gweithredu yn yr hinsawdd.
Rwyf hefyd yn gweithio ar brosiectau am arbrawf byw heb geir i leihau'r defnydd o geir, polisi datgarboneiddio yng Nghymru, a'r dylanwad y gall trinwyr gwallt ei gael ar weithredu ar yr hinsawdd a chynaliadwyedd gyda chleientiaid.
