Rwy'n ymchwilydd gyrfa gynnar sydd â diddordeb angerddol mewn gwyddoniaeth a chymwysiadau microhylifeg a mater meddal. Mae fy ymchwil yn canolbwyntio ar sylfaenol microhylifeg defnyn, a'm harbenigedd yw rheoli adweithiau cemegol a phrosesau biolegol yn fanwl gywir o fewn emwlsiynau cymhleth. Rwy'n gweithio mewn ymchwil amlddisgyblaethol gyda modelu rhifiadol ac arbrofi ymarferol ac mae gen i gofnod olrhain ymchwil eang mewn cynhyrchu ynni (inertial fusion energy target fabrication), celloedd (organoid ymennydd a spheroid tiwmor), nano- a micro-beirianneg (integredig aml-ddeunydd dylunio a saernïo dyfeisiau microhylifig), bioffiseg (pilenni dwylayer lipid; ailgyfansoddi a gatio ceudod protein mecanosensitif), a bioleg peirianneg (o'r gwaelod i fyny creu celloedd artiffisial), sydd i gyd yn canoli o amgylch deunyddiau defnynnau a mater meddal. Rwy'n bwriadu datblygu maes cwbl newydd ym maes manylder wedi'i beiriannu, biomimetig "Peiriant Byw", wedi'i adeiladu ar fater gweithredol. Bydd hyn yn arwain at lu o geisiadau, o fanteision cymdeithasol, amgylcheddol a chynaliadwy, mewn diwydiannau amrywiol gan gynnwys, yn feirniadol, deunydd newydd, meddygaeth, robot meddal, amaethyddiaeth, ynni a datblygiad A.I. Fy nod gyrfa ganol tymor yw sefydlu canolfan ymchwil ryngwladol ar "Microhylifeg, microrobotiaid a systemau ymreolaethol", a chyflawni rôl llysgennad rhyngwladol wedi'i lleoli yn y DU, i adeiladu cysylltiadau newydd â phrifysgolion Tsieineaidd ac America ar gyfer cyfnewid gwyddonol, cyd-grant a gwyddonol arall ar gyfer a.
