Rwy'n Gydymaith Ymchwil o fewn yr is-adran Heintiau, Llid ac Imiwnedd yn y Ganolfan Ymchwil Treialon. Ar ôl gweithio mewn ymchwil glinigol o fewn diwydiant, y GIG a'r byd academaidd ers cwblhau fy ngradd israddedig yn 2003, ymunais â Phrifysgol Caerdydd yn 2011.
Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n Rheolwr Treial ar gyfer y treial "Azithromycin Therapy for Chronic Lung Disease of Prematurity" (AZTEC®) sy'n cofrestru babanod o unedau newyddenedigol ledled y DU.
Mae fy nghefndir clinigol yn bennaf mewn meddygaeth anadlol, yn benodol mewn pediatreg a babanod newydd-anedig. Cwblheais fy PhD ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd yn 2017 gan ymchwilio i ganlyniadau anadlol mewn plant a anwyd yn gynamserol, gan ddefnyddio data o astudiaethau carfan hydredol mawr. Rwyf wedi cydlynu nifer o dreialon clinigol yn llwyddiannus dros y 15 mlynedd diwethaf.
