Rwyf wedi cael fy hyfforddi mewn Peirianneg Bensaernïol (BSc- Sefydliad Technoleg Harbin, Tsieina) a Hinsawdd Trefol (PhD- Prifysgol Hong Kong, Hong Kong, Tsieina). Cyn ymuno â Chaerdydd, roeddwn yn Ddarlithydd ac yn Athro Cyswllt yn yr Ysgol Amgylchedd Adeiledig, Prifysgol Reading, y DU. Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n Athro ac yn Gadeirydd mewn Gwyddoniaeth Bensaernïol a Threfol yn Ysgol Pensaernïaeth Cymru (WSA), Prifysgol Caerdydd. Rwyf hefyd yn arwain y grŵp ymchwil Ynni, Amgylchedd a Phobl (EEP) yn WSA.
Mae fy ymchwil yn canolbwyntio ar ddylunio amgylcheddau smart, gwydn ac iach adeiledig ar raddfeydd adeiladu a threfol heb fawr o wariant ynni, mewn ymateb i argyfyngau newid yn yr hinsawdd ac iechyd cyhoeddus fel COVID-19.
