Trosolwyg
I am a Professor of Procurement for the Logistics and Operations Management (LOM) section. This is an exciting year as I lead the launch of the NEW Centre of Public Value Procurement in October 2022. The research centre aims to grow and support the talent pool of procurement professionals in public, private and third sectors.
I thrive on challenge and particularly enjoy multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research, offering expertise in public procurement, social value, innovation in procurement and supply chain collaboration. I am experienced in providing a range of procurement and collaboration support to governments and the private sector from research to executive teaching. I am the practise lead for IRSPP (International Research Study on Public Procurement), Course Director for Help to Grow: Management (available for Micros and SMEs), the strategic co-lead for the Procurement Lab of Infuse 2023 and collaboration expert and social impact lead for LINC Multimorbidity project.
I am a Senior Fellow for the Advance Higher Education (SFHEA) and have won awards for personal tutoring and student experience, previously holding roles such as Senior Personal Tutor and Director of Student Experience for the Business School. My pedagogical research has included personal tutoring and international orientation, regularly attending and presenting at the LTSE Conference.

Addysgu
Profiad addysgu
Mae gen i brofiad helaeth o addysgu ar lefelau israddedig ac ôl-raddedig - e.e., (UG): Prynu a Rheoli Cadwyn Gyflenwi (Blwyddyn 2), (UG): Prynu Strategol a Rheoli Cyflenwr (Blwyddyn 3), MBA Prynu a Rheoli Cadwyn Gyflenwi (modiwl dewisol).
Ar hyn o bryd, mae fy mhortffolio addysgu yn cynnwys dylunio a chyflwyno rhaglenni gweithredol.
Bywgraffiad
Yn dilyn gyrfa gynnar yn y sector manwerthu, dilynais MBA rhan-amser a arweiniodd at gyfleoedd addysgu yn y Brifysgol Agored, Prifysgol Cymru, Casnewydd ac ymuno ag Ysgol Busnes Caerdydd yn 2006.
Cwblheais Gymhwyster Addysgu Addysg Uwch PGCert (FHEA), Prifysgol Cymru, Casnewydd yn 2007 a dyfarnwyd Uwch Gymrawd (SFHEA) i mi yn 2021 yng Nghaerdydd.
Archwiliodd fy PhD ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd gyfluniad dulliau cyfeiriadedd strategol ar gyfer cwmnïau gweithgynhyrchu yn ystod cyfnod o orgynnwrf (cwblhawyd 2015). Roeddwn i eisiau deall beth sy'n gyrru busnes yn ystod cyfnod heriol, a rôl prynu neu gaffael yn hyn o beth. Canolbwyntiais ar y strategaeth, y strwythur a'r ymddygiadau a ddylanwadodd ar effeithiolrwydd cydweithredu mewnol ac integreiddio strategol - cyfeiriadedd y gadwyn gyflenwi.
Rwy'n dderbynnydd balch o lawer o wobrau mewn addysgu, ymgysylltu ac ymchwil.
