Rwy'n Ddarlithydd mewn Addysg y mae ei addysgu a'i ymchwil yn cael ei yrru gan angerdd dros greu newid cymdeithasol ar gyfer cyfiawnder rhywedd a rhywiol o fewn a thrwy addysg. Mae fy ymchwil yn canolbwyntio ar amrywiaeth rhywedd a rhywiol mewn plentyndod ac ieuenctid; perthnasoedd digidol a dulliau creadigol, gweledol a chelfyddydol.
Mae fy ymchwil PhD(a ddyfarnwyd yn 2020) yn archwilio sut mae cyfryngau cymdeithasol, dyfeisiau clyfar a llwyfannau hapchwarae yn siapio rhywedd a diwylliannau rhywiol pobl ifanc. Gan dynnu ar ddamcaniaethau ôl-ddynol ffeministaidd a materolaidd newydd, dangosodd fy nhraethawd ymchwil rym parhaol pŵer heteronormative a phallogocentric mewn diwylliannau cyfoedion rhwydweithiol digidol pobl ifanc yn ogystal â goleuo sut mae rhywedd a rhywioldeb yn cael ei ail-ffurfweddu ar-lein.
Mae fy Nghrodoriaeth Ôl-ddoethurol (2021 - 22) a ariennir gan yr ESRC, wedi fy ngalluogi i dreialu prosiect ymchwil newydd gydag Amgueddfa Genedlaethol Cymru, gan ymgysylltu'n greadigol â'u casgliadau ffyngau ac ecoleg ffwngaidd fel ysgogiadau ar gyfer archwilio dealltwriaeth newidiol o ryw a rhywioldeb gyda phobl ifanc.
Mae fy ngwaith hefyd yn archwilio sut y gall technolegau dulliau creadigol, gweledol a chelfyddydol ddatgloi ystod o brofiadau ymgorfforedig, materol, gofodol ac affeithiol gyda rhywedda rhyw.

Roedd fy ngradd israddedig mewn Llenyddiaeth Saesneg o Brifysgol Sheffield. Yn 2011, cwblheais MA mewn Gweithio gyda Chymunedau: Hunaniaethau, Adfywio a Newid yn yr Ysgol Addysg, Prifysgol Sheffield.
Yn ymarferol, gweithiais yn y sector celfyddydau cymunedol ieuenctid a gwirfoddoli i Stonewall fel mentor ieuenctid (2009 - 2011) cyn symud i Fryste i weithio gyda phobl ifanc ar brosiectau sy'n herio bwlio homoffobig, deuffobig a thrawsffobig mewn ysgolion (2011 - 2016). Fe wnes i barhau i fanteisio ar y profiad hwn yn ystod fy astudiaethau doethurol, yn benodol trwy weithio ar AGENDA®, adnodd actifyddion ieuenctid ar drais rhyw a rhywiol (2016 - 2020).
