Trosolwyg
Rwy'n Ddarlithydd mewn Addysg sydd â diddordeb arbennig mewn diwylliannau rhyw a rhywiol pobl ifanc, perthnasoedd digidol a dulliau creadigol, gweledol a chelfyddydol. Mae fy addysgu ac ymchwil yn cael ei ysgogi gan angerdd dros greu newid cymdeithasol ar gyfer cydraddoldeb rhywiol a chyfiawnder rhywiol o fewn a thrwy addysg.
Archwiliodd fy rch ymchwil PhD(gwobrwywyd 2020) sut mae'r cyfryngau cymdeithasol, dyfeisiau clyfar a llwyfannau hapchwarae yn siapio diwylliannau rhywedd a rhywiol pobl ifanc.Gan dynnu ar ddamcaniaethau ôl-ddynol ffeministaidd a materolaidd newydd, dangosodd fy thesis rym parhaus pŵer heteronormative a phallogocentric yn niwylliannau cyfoedion pobl ifanc sydd wedi'u rhwydweithio'n ddigidol yn ogystal â goleuo sut mae rhywedd a rhywioldeb yn cael ei ailgyflunio ar-lein.
Mae gen i ddiddordeb cynyddol hefyd mewn ecoleg queer ac ecoaddysgeg a hwyluso sgyrsiau rhyngddisgyblaethol bywiog rhwng gwleidyddiaeth rywiol ac amgylcheddol. Fe wnaeth fy Nghymrodoriaeth Ôl-ddoethurol a ariannwyd gan ESRC (2021 - 22), fy ngalluogi i dreialu prosiect ymchwil newydd gydag Amgueddfa Genedlaethol Cymru, gan ymgysylltu'n greadigol â'u casgliadau ffyngau a'u hecoleg ffwngaidd leol fel symbyliad ar gyfer archwilio dealltwriaeth newidiol o rywedd a rhywioldeb gyda phobl ifanc.
Mae fy ngwaith hefyd yn archwilio sut y gall dulliau creadigol, gweledol a chelfyddydolideolegau ddatgloi ystod o brofiadau corfforedig, materol, gofodol ac affeithiol gydarhywioldeb a rhyw.
