Nod y prosiect dwy flynedd hwn yw creu astudiaethau achos manwl o brofiadau byw pobl ifanc o lwybrau gwasanaeth, darpariaeth a chanlyniadau a gamfanteisiodd arnynt yn droseddol bum mlynedd cyn derbyn atgyfeiriadau a hyd at 2 flynedd ar ôl.
Nod y gwerthusiad hwn yw archwilio gweithredu, darparu ac effaith y gwasanaeth ar draws pedwar safle yn y DU ar ddargyfeirio plant a phobl ifanc rhag troseddoldeb yn seiliedig ar (1) dadansoddiad o ddata gwasanaeth, (2) arolwg ar-lein (3) cyfweliadau lled-strwythuredig, (4) dadansoddi ffeiliau achos, a (5) dadansoddiad o ddata gweinyddol yr heddlu. Yn ogystal, mae'r gwerthusiad yn archwilio'r meysydd thematig o adnabod, meithrin gallu, gweithio amlasiantaethol, ac ymyriadau wedi'u targedu.
Prosiectau ymchwil yn y gorffennol:
Mewn partneriaeth â Barnardo's, nod y prosiect ymchwil archwiliadol 18 mis hwn yw creu pecyn cymorth ar gyfer ymateb gwasanaeth effeithiol i wella'r canlyniadau i blant sydd mewn perygl neu sy'n ymwneud â llinellau cyffuriau. Bydd y prosiect hwn yn cyfrannu at y sylfaen wybodaeth o ran natur a graddfa'r broblem, pa ddulliau ac ymyriadau sydd fwyaf effeithiol a sut y gellir defnyddio dulliau diogelu cyd-destunol yn ymarferol o fewn y Gymraeg cyd-destun.
