Cyswllt Ymchwil - Ansoddol
Trosolwyg
Rwy'n anelu at alluogi pobl sy'n cael mynediad at wasanaethau mamolaeth, IVF a geneteg i wneud penderfyniadau gwybodus, fel y gallant gael mynediad cyfartal i'r gofal gorau posibl. Rwy'n defnyddio dulliau ansoddol a chymysg i archwilio a gwella darpariaeth gwybodaeth i gleifion sy'n seiliedig ar dystiolaeth, ac yn croesawu cydweithrediadau ymchwil - cysylltwch â ni os oes gennych ddiddordeb mewn trafod syniadau. Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n dal gwobr Ymchwilydd Hyrwyddo Ymchwil Iechyd a Gofal Cymru, i archwilio darpariaeth gwybodaeth a gwneud penderfyniadau ynghylch cynllunio man geni.
Mae gen i arbenigedd mewn dylunio ac integreiddio ymchwil ansoddol mewn astudiaethau iechyd a threialon clinigol, gan weithio fel rhan o Grŵp Ymchwil Ansoddol y Ganolfan Ymchwil Treialon, gan ddarparu cyngor methodolegol i dimau rhyngddisgyblaethol ac arwain gwerthusiadau prosesau treialon. Rwy'n arwain gweithgareddau Cynnwys Cleifion a'r Cyhoedd (PPI) wrth ddatblygu prosiectau ymchwil a cheisiadau cyllid, ac ar hyn o bryd rwy'n Gyd-Ymchwilydd ar 2 grant NIHR gwerth cyfanswm o £4.2 miliwn.
Rwyf wedi archwilio penderfyniadau clinigwyr a chleifion ar draws amrywiaeth o astudiaethau iechyd: e.e . safbwyntiau clinigwyr adran achosion brys ar drin cleifion ag amheuaeth o sepsis, dealltwriaeth cleifion a llawfeddygon o risg wrth benderfynu a ddylid bwrw ymlaen ag amputation coesau, a ffactorau sy'n dylanwadu ar ddefnydd menywod o gronfeydd geni. Mae fy ngwaith wedi cyfrannu at well dealltwriaeth o'r ystod o ffactorau sy'n effeithio ar brofiadau cleifion, gan gynnwys darparu gwybodaeth, gwahaniaethau demograffig cymdeithasol, ac amgylchedd, polisi a diwylliant gofal iechyd.
Rwy'n aelod o Bwyllgor Gwybodaeth Cleifion Coleg Brenhinol yr Obstetryddion a'r Gynaecolegwyr (RCOG) a Phwyllgor Llywio System Gwyliadwriaeth Obstetreg y DU (UKOSS). Rwyf hefyd yn eistedd ar y grŵp cynghori o sawl astudiaeth iechyd, gan gynnwys yr Obstetric Bleeding Study (OBS) UK. Rwy'n adolygu ar gyfer Midwifery a'r European Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Biology, ac yn adolygu cynigion ymchwil a cheisiadau grant (NIHR, Wellbeing of Women, Health and Care Research Wales).
